    Gojko Mitic is one of the most famous and most loved actors in East Germany and in the other countries in Eastern Europe. He was born on 13 June, 1940 in the little village of Stojkovce near Leskovac in the former Yugoslavia (now Serbia).

    He spent his childhood there but when he grew up, he went to Belgrad where he studied in the Sports School.
